Why I Hold Events at a Community Gathering Space
People sometimes ask why I host my events at the Empower House Community Gathering Space in North Phoenix instead of in a studio of my own. The answer says a lot about what I believe.
A community space belongs to everyone who walks in. Nobody is a customer in it. That changes the air in the room, and I think people feel the difference the moment they arrive.
There is also something right about gathering where gathering is the whole purpose. The room exists so that people can meet, celebrate, learn, and simply be together. My events get to borrow that intention every time.
Practical things matter too. The space is welcoming, easy to find, and comfortable for sound meditations, shared meals, and real conversation. A room that works for many kinds of evenings lets community take many shapes.
As I reflect on it, where we gather teaches people what to expect. I want the first message to be that this place is yours too. You can see what is coming up there on my events page.
What kinds of events happen at the gathering space?
Community evenings, group sound meditations, and seasonal celebrations. Everything I host is listed with dates and details on my events page.
Where is the Empower House Community Gathering Space?
In North Phoenix, Arizona, and easy to reach from most of the valley. Each event listing includes the address and what to expect when you arrive.
Why does gathering locally matter?
Belonging works best close to home, where you can return week after week. The U.S. Surgeon General has called social connection a public health priority, and local gathering spaces are where that priority becomes real.
