Sarah June

An independent, singer songwriter based in Phoenix, AZ, sarah june. writes songs with vivid and nostalgic details that are easy to take on as your own. Listeners have used her lofi sound filled with layered, delicate vocals and guitar, as a way to feel at home in the world. The calculated rise and fall of her arrangements takes you through emotional landscapes of longing, peacefulness, and grief. Sarah's vocals are gentle, precise, and sincere, and her melodies befriend you easily. Although her delivery is typically comforting, Sarah's lyrics are often mysterious and challenging. In her song, "Ghost," whose crisp production pushes beyond that of a typical bedroom recording, Sarah sings, "feel your mind disappear," adding an unsettling undertone to the tranquility of the song. Sarah can be found playing in arrangements ranging from a solo acoustic performance to a full indie pop-rock sound. Whether on a record or in person, her music invites you on a journey that is both familiar and thought-provoking.

Where's Beth?

Voice and lyrics clear as glass, Where’s Beth (project of Seattle-based Sarabeth Weszely) carries the kind of honesty that makes a room go still.

Raised in the Midwest and trained as a writer, Weszely brings a literary sensibility to her songs, shaped by close observation and restraint. She lived seven years in New York City, where she recorded for my mom & other lovers and Bone Broth. These early releases introduced her devotion to shared domestic spaces and the emotional textures of the mundane.

Her sophomore album Ache Is A Cricket In The Night continues this exploration of everyday life but widens its emotional landscape. Across its songs, Weszely writes in tiny weather systems: a fridge that stops humming, a clogged drain gurgling like human pain, strangers pointing out untied shoes in the grocery line, white ants burrowing through wood at dusk. These images widen into reflections on grief, anger, the quiet accumulation of loss, and the ordinary ache of being alive.

AJ Odneal

AJ Odneal is an indie folk singer and songwriter, heavily influenced by pop and jazz. She is an indie folk singer/songwriter influenced by pop and jazz who plays guitar, ukulele, and banjo.

Finding ways to connect and be in community with others is one of the best parts about being a musician.

ENVIRONMENT: This is an outdoor space! The ground is uneven and there are wood chips/mulch. Wear good shoes. Dress for the weather. We will have cushions to sit around the fire in the Portal of Consciousness (a concrete conversation pit dug into the earth). The first step is deep and there are no handrails. If you need help going up and down, please ask. If you have an unsteady gait, or have any other difficulty, please sit on the benches on the outside of the pit instead and do not attempt to go into the pit by yourself. We have a fire pit for the winter and in the hot summer months, there is an option to jump in the pool if you would like to do that. Please bring a swimsuit and a towel. Please refrain from wearing oil-base sunscreen or other products prior to using the pool. We also do our best to mitigate mosquitos, but DIY natural based spray is available if needed. The pool and pond are unfenced. This may not be a good event to bring young children too as we will be sitting and talking for 2 hours. Please leave your animals at home. This is a smoke free, meat free, and sober space.
