  ENVIRONMENT: This is an outdoor space! The ground is uneven and there are wood chips/mulch. Wear good shoes. Dress for the weather. We will have cushions to sit around the fire in the Portal of Consciousness (a concrete conversation pit dug into the earth). The first step is deep and there are no handrails. If you need help going up and down, please ask. If you have an unsteady gait, or have any other difficulty, please sit on the benches on the outside of the pit instead and do not attempt to go into the pit by yourself. We have a fire pit for the winter and in the hot summer months, there is an option to jump in the pool if you would like to do that. Please bring a swimsuit and a towel. Please refrain from wearing oil-base sunscreen or other products prior to using the pool. We also do our best to mitigate mosquitos, but DIY natural based spray is available if needed. The pool and pond are unfenced. Please no children at this event due to adult content. Please leave your animals at home. This is a smoke free, meat free, and sober space.
  PARTICIPATION: Any volunteers to help set up and clean up are appreciated! Additionally, if you would like to be part of the "garden team" to keep the grounds looking beautiful on a regular basis, please contact Water.
  GATHERING SPACE: We believe everyone should have access to a safe community where we can come together in a very conscious way to create the world we want. We host events at the Empower House Community Gathering Space where all people are accepted and loved. We believe when people feel safe and supported, they will naturally practice kindness, feel better, increase their motivation and focus and have a reduction in anxiety, stress and depression.
